Shipyard Guangzhou Longxue shipbuilding
 

Guangzhou Longxue shipbuilding Co., Ltd., (GLS) was incorporated on May 25, 2006 and subsequently developed into a joint venture with China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), Bao Steel Group Corporation and China Shipping (Group) Company, is the core enterprise of the CSSC Longxue Shipbuilding base (one among the three massive shipbuilding bases in China) and also the largest modernized shipbuilding company in South China. With its manufacturing factory located on Longxue Island in Nansha District of Guangzhou, which is only 70km or so from Guangzhou city center and adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, GLS boasts a very favorable geographic advantage. The shipyard, which is equipped with two large dry-docks, four 600 tons gantry cranes, four berths and adopts advanced equipment such as FCB production line, covers an area of 2.53 million square meters and achieve an annual shipbuilding capacity of up to 3.5 million dwt.

GLS started the building of its first ship (308,000 dwt VLCC) in H1, 2008 and delivered it in Q4 of 2009 and so far has delivered total tonnage in excess of 1.3m DWT and this is of great significance in promoting the industrial upgrading in Guangdong area and escalating the layout of Chinese shipbuilding industry as well as in making China a major and powerful shipbuilding country.

The portfolio of GLS consists of a wide range of merchant ships including large bulk carriers (including VLOC, Panamax bulk carrier, Kamsarmax bulk carrier) , large crude/product oil tankers(including VLCC, Suezmax , Aframax and so on), large containerships, and high-tech ships such as LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas).

Good day,

Kindly please, advised for the following concern's one of our Fleet Vessel (new coming to our Fleet) build in your Good Yard with the following particulars,

In addition the aforesaid vessel equipped with Boiler with the following specs

In continuation the aforesaid kindly, advised that missing from our files the maker's manual drawings concern's the construction of the boiler e.g. tube plate for smoke tubes - smoke tubes (material - dimensions OD-ID & Length, as well, the Nos, etc), in this respect Kindly, requested please to provide to us for our easy reference, in order to proceed with future repairs needed, as Boiler has already 37 smoke tubes plugged.

Your prompt reply for this very high importance matter, will be much appreciated.
