| Havyard wins subsea vessel order |
| Norwegian Havyard Group has signed contracts for the design and construction of a subsea vessel. The shipbuilders latest design, a Havyard 858 L WE is building for an International shipowner with delivery programmed for Q2 2017. The vessel, which has a length of 121 m and breadth of 24 m, will perform Inspection maintenance, repair, and light construction work on subsea installations. Other features include a moon pool, heli deck, a 250 tonne + 30 tonne offshore crane with accommodation for 140 personnel. The contract is valued at approximately Nkr 700 million. Havyard has a healthy order book, with eight vessels to be delivered by the summer of 2017. |
